Wondering what the new beauty trends are? This season, the look is dewy, delicate, and ethereal, but not without some bold, defined eyes and lips cropping up. What’s in store for fall makeup trends 2022? Of course, when we talk about make-up trends, we are referring to the finish and color palette.
If you were looking forward to hiding under a matte, full-coverage foundation this season, we hate to break it to you, but that heavy look is not on trend this year. The aim this fall is a natural-looking finish that allows you to see the skin. It should complement versus mask your natural skin tone - no layering of thick concealers required. Don’t fight this less is more, clean make-up look. As we mature, pesky lines and wrinkles tend to capture make-up. So, while you think heavier foundations are your friend, when they fall into your creases, they actually accentuate any imperfections.

Skin tints or “barely there” base make-up are an excellent way to embrace your skin and get this clean, dewy skin look. To achieve the coveted, lit-from-within-glow, try underpainting! This technique achieves an au naturel look by applying your cream blush or bronzer before applying foundation.

Geometric dramatic statement liner, seen in double winged classic black and neon shades is fun to experiment with and channel your inner fashionista. Blue eye make-up, not a la the ‘70s is here again, too. This time, think navy and matte versus sky blue.
