All I can say is that this conditioner really surprised me (the whole Hair Energize line did!). Like the shampoo this product smells really fresh and almost medicinal but in a good way. I have long, really porous hair so I was afraid that it would not really work but it does. The best part is that I only need a little amount versus other conditioners I've used where I have to use globs of it just to get my hair to really feel hydrated and detangled. I love how it helps to add volume and is incredibly hydrating which means my scalp doesn't feel heavy or greasy and my hair looks so much shinier and healthier.
