After-Sun Soothing Gel

I only just started using this in 2024, but it works really well so far. I have very sensitive, prone to irritation skin (even the chlorine in the shower water can set it off), and this works like a charm to calm and sooth and de-red my skin. I don't really get sun burned despite being pale, it's a South Florida thing, we get kind of immune to burns unless we really do something silly (12 hrs in a boat with no protection or shade), so I can't speak to sun burn relief, but I would imagine if it can tame chlorine irritation, it will work for the sun too. I saw someone compare the to the Propolis gel, and I agree they are similar, but this does one not have lavender like the Propolis gel, which for me makes this one the easy pick between them, even though this is a wee bit too floral, but not by much (I have difficulty with some fragrances in general). Bonus--no Sodium Hylauronate!.

This is the greatest sun product on the market! I put this on after being in the sun for a long time and it calms down any redness on my body. I burned really badly once in Hawaii, and what would have taken at least 5 days heal with aloe and lotion, only took 2 days with this gel. I always have a big stock of this in my home. It smells really good and it prevents sun damage. I love this product!

I have used pevonias after sun care products for over 15 years! I got a sun burn the first day on vacation when I was a preteen and a friend of my mother's gave her the soothing gel from a salon and we tried it out and the next day, my sunburn was GONE! AMAZING product. So this year I purchased two bottle for my family, we went through one on vacation and have one at home for back up. As long as the ingredients don't change, I will continue to buy and spread the word!

This works well for a soothing treatment. It is cooling, but not overly so...in fact, it feels similar to the Propolis serum. Leaves no residue and you can actually layer products on top if you want. I have only used it on my face so far, so I know that it doesn't cause breakouts even though it is formulated to be used all over the body (and in a big container too, so you won't run out!)

I rarely burn but when I do it's intense. I actually use this as a preventive treatment after extended sun exposure to avoid redness, peeling, and definitely alleviate pain/discomfort when I forget to reapply my hydrating sunscreen. This is the best after-sun product I have ever tried!!!

Not only does this after-sun gel sooth sunburns immediately, I even apply it after eyebrow/lip waxes to help eliminate the burn/pain. The product is not greasy and not oily. It easily applies to the skin, and leaves no weird residue. This product is amazing, and is an absolute must have.

I tried this product after a recommendation from a friend. I live in SoCal so get lots of exposure to sun. Applying this after a day in the sun really takes the edge off the burn. It's very soothing, with a pleasant, fresh scent. The gel is completely non-greasy which is great - the same cannot be said of most other after-sun products I've tried.

I always get a terrible reaction on my chest and shoulders from the sun. Just came back from Aruba and the spa at my hotel gave me some of this. It's the only thing that calmed it down and stopped the rash, itching, heat and pain. Anyone looking for after sun should come straight to this product. AMAZING.

I am currently holidaying in Fiji, and have been unable to sleep for 2 nights due to extreme sunburn. The Day Spa staff suggested a Water Lilly wrap using the After-Sun Soothing Gel - this stuff is amazing!! As soon as it was applied, the relief was instant! You could feel the cooling effect seep through your pores and all the heat from my sunburn disappear - and it still feels good 4 hours after. Definitely looking out for this product when I return to Australia. Thank you
